Using markers and Quintic Biomechanics I can analyse your horses movements and spot the smallest amounts of asymmetry in your horses gait. We can then work to enhance your horses gait, therefore enhancing their performance.
How it works?
Video analysis is used by athletes daily, it provides the athlete with accurate records of their movements and areas which are asymmetric. Quintic software specialises in video analysis for the equine athlete.
By placing markers on bony landmarks, I am able to calculate joint angles, stride length, back biomechanics and much more.
What's the need for it?
If you often compete with your horse/pony, or they are returning back to work, getting an accurate reading of their movements can help you pinpoint areas that need improvement and therefore enhancing their performance.
The best way to understand and progress your horse/pony is to know exactly how they move.
