CASE STUDY

THIS IS TAFFY

I was called by his owners after he was showing signs of being uncomfortable when ridden.

After palpation and some massage, I noticed he had a trigger point located dorsal and caudal on his right scapular.

I then assessed the fit of the saddle (although I am not a certified saddler my training has enabled me to notice inaccuracies upon saddles which I then work with saddlers to fix), I noticed the right panel had slightly more wear (second image).

This indicates the right shoulder is larger and therefore undergoes more pressure when the horse is ridden.
